The Awards are open to researchers, educators, innovators, and academic leaders from all disciplines and all nations. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Scinova Laureate Awards are open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Professional Standing: Active researchers, academics, educators, or innovators in any discipline.
  • Contributions: Demonstrated significant contributions to research, academia, or innovation.
  • Impact: Evidence of tangible impact—whether through publications, discoveries, teaching, policy influence, or societal benefit.
  • Integrity: Adherence to the highest standards of academic and professional integrity.
  • Global Reach: Open to candidates from all nations and all career stages. Early-career, mid-career, and established researchers are all welcome.
  • Self-nominations and nominations by third parties are both accepted.


SELECTION CRITERIA

Nominations are evaluated by the SIFR Senate and Awards Committee, composed of distinguished academics and research leaders. The assessment is rigorous, transparent, and merit-based, guided by the following criteria:

The quality, originality, and rigour of the nominee's work.

Evidence of innovation and intellectual contribution to their field.

NOMINATION PROCESS

The nomination process is designed to be straightforward and accessible. Follow these steps to submit a nomination:

Step 1: Prepare Your Nomination

Identify award category who meets the eligibility criteria.

Gather supporting materials, including:

A detailed nomination statement (maximum 2 pages) outlining the nominee's contributions and impact.

The nominee's CV or resume.

Letters of support (optional but encouraged).

Any additional evidence of impact or recognition.

Step 2: Submit Your Nomination

Complete the online nomination form given at the end of this page.

Upload all required supporting documents in PDF format.

Step 3: Acknowledgement

You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.

The Awards Committee will review all nominations and communicate outcomes by the specified timeline.

Step 4: Selection and Announcement

The SIFR Senate and Awards Committee evaluates all nominations against the selection criteria.

Laureates are selected and formally notified.

Public announcement of laureates is made through official SIFR channels.

Review and Selection Period: 30 Aug 2026

Laureates Notified: 02 Sept 2026

Public Announcement: 05 Sept 2026

Awards Ceremony: 05 Sept 2026 online over Zoom platform at 07.00 PM IST

SELECTION COMMITTEE

The Scinova Laureate Awards are governed by the SIFR Senate and Awards Committee, comprising distinguished academics, research leaders, and industry experts from around the world. The Committee is responsible for:

  • Establishing and reviewing selection criteria.
  • Evaluating all nominations against the established criteria.
  • Ensuring a fair, transparent, and rigorous selection process.
  • Selecting laureates who exemplify the highest standards of excellence and integrity.

The Committee operates with independence and impartiality, guided by SIFR's commitment to academic integrity and excellence.


LAUREATE DESIGNATION AND RIGHTS

Upon receiving a Scinova Laureate Award, the recipient is entitled to:

  • Use the designation " SIFR’s Scinova Laureate Award-2026 " in perpetuity on professional materials, including CVs, publications, email signatures, and social media profiles.
  • Receive a formal Certificate of Award, signed by the SIFR Senate and Awards Committee.
  • Be featured in the SIFR - Laureate Directory and official promotional materials.
  • Access SIFR's global network of researchers, academics, and institutions.
  • Participate in SIFR events, conferences, and ambassador programmes.
