About the Conference  

Aim & Mission

The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education (ICAIE) aims to be the premier global forum for the dissemination of cutting-edge research, innovative practices, and critical dialogue on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in educational contexts. Our mission is to bridge the gap between theoretical AI research, practical educational applications, and policy development to foster equitable, effective, and engaging learning experiences for all.

Key Objectives

· To provide a platform for researchers, educators, technologists, and policymakers to present and discuss the latest advancements in AI in Education (AIED).

· To showcase practical, evidence-based applications of AI that solve real-world challenges in classrooms, corporate training, and lifelong learning.

· To facilitate critical conversations on the ethical, societal, and pedagogical implications of AI in learning environments.

· To foster interdisciplinary collaboration and build a strong, global community of practice.

· To explore future trends and set a collaborative agenda for responsible innovation in the field.

ICAIE is an interdisciplinary conference. We welcome:

How to Join? (Process)

Peer Review: All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process by our international program committee.

Registration: Accepted authors and all other participants must register for the conference by Sept 30, 2025 to confirm their participation and be included in the program.

Submission Guidelines 

Presentation Formats

We accept the following types of submissions:

· Full Papers (5-10 pages): Original, significant research contributions.

· Short Papers (4-6 pages): Work-in-progress, preliminary results, or novel ideas.

· Poster & Demo Abstracts (2 pages): For presenting late-breaking results or live demonstrations of software/tools.

Conference Chairs

1. Steering & Leadership (The Core Committee)

These roles provide overall direction, make high-level decisions, and are responsible for the conference's ultimate success.

a. Conference Chair / General Chair:

Role: The ultimate leader and face of the conference. Provides overall vision and strategic direction.

Responsibilities: Oversees all committees, chairs steering committee meetings, secures keynotes and high-level sponsors, handles major crises, and gives opening/closing remarks.

b. Program Chair(s):

Role: Leads the academic and intellectual heart of the conference—the content.

Responsibilities: Designs the call for papers, forms the program committee, manages the paper submission and double-blind peer-review process, creates the final conference schedule (sessions, keynotes, workshops), and ensures the high quality of all presented content. Often there are two or more Co-Chairs for large conferences.

c. Publication Chair:

Role: Manages the conference's academic output.

Responsibilities: Coordinates the collection of camera-ready papers, works with publishers (e.g., Springer, IEEE) to produce the conference proceedings, and ensures indexing (e.g., Scopus, Web of Science).

2. Academic & Content (The Knowledge Core)

These roles are focused on the quality and curation of the conference's intellectual material.

a. Keynote Speakers:

Role: High-profile experts who set the tone for the conference.

Responsibilities: Deliver a talk on a broad, inspirational, or cutting-edge topic that is of interest to the entire audience. They are usually invited by the Conference Chair/Program Chair.

b. Invited Speakers / Panelists:

Role: Experts invited to speak in specific sessions or panels.

Responsibilities: Provide deep insights on a particular topic, participate in moderated discussions, and engage with the audience.

c. Session Chairs / Moderators:

Role: Manage individual presentation sessions during the conference.

Responsibilities: Introduce speakers, keep the session on time, manage the Q&A period, and ensure a professional and respectful environment.

3. Advisory & Honorary

These roles provide credibility, guidance, and institutional memory.

a. Advisory Committee – Chief Guest / Guest of Honor:

Role: Comprised of senior, esteemed figures in the field (e.g., educators, professors, past chairs, industry VPs).

Responsibilities: Provide strategic advice, lend their reputation to promote the conference, help connect the organizing team with keynotes and sponsors, and help resolve conflicts.

b. Honorary Chair:

Role: A highly distinguished individual in the field.

Responsibilities: Primarily a ceremonial role to honor a luminary and add significant prestige to the conference. They may give a brief address.

The Luminary Awards, presented by SIFR, UK, recognize and honor outstanding contributions in the field of education. These prestigious awards celebrate educators, institutions, and leaders who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, innovation, leadership, and community impact.

Self-nominations or third-party recommendations accepted.

3. Judging Panel

5. Announcement & Ceremony

  • Winners will be notified via email and announced on the SIFR website & social media.

  • Featured in the Luminary Awards Annual Report and global education publications.
